Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Sannverk about your use of RoC Command. By creating an account you accept them.
1. Who we are
RoC Command is a trade name of Sannverk, Molenstraat 49, 6442 XV Brunssum, Netherlands. Company registration 42140115. VAT number NL221990720B01. You can reach us at support@roc-command.com.
2. What RoC Command is
RoC Command is an independent planning and coordination tool for players of the mobile game Rise of Castles. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to the game or its publisher in any way. All game names, terms and data referenced in the service belong to their respective owners.
The service records information that you enter yourself. It does not connect to the game, read your game account, or automate any part of playing it.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential, and for everything done through your account.
- One person, one account. Do not share an account with someone else.
- Accounts are created either by you, or by a leader of an alliance who invites you. A leader can remove you from their alliance at any time.
We may suspend or close an account that is used to abuse the service, to harass other members, to attempt to access data belonging to another alliance, or to break these terms. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.
4. Alliances and what leaders can see
Joining an alliance means the leaders of that alliance can see the information you record for coordination purposes: your in-game name, castle coordinates, castle type, active hours, your hero ownership, and whether you are signed up for a shieldwall or a target. If your alliance is on the Alliance plan, leaders can additionally see castle profiles, member activity and hero skill levels.
Your research, spec and Eden planning is your own and is not shown to leaders unless you share it by asking for advice.
Leaders of one alliance can never see data belonging to another alliance. If you leave an alliance, you keep your own planning data and lose access to that alliance's shared content.
5. Plans and payment
RoC Command has a free tier that does not expire and does not limit how many members an alliance can have. Two paid plans are available:
- Personal unlocks additional planning features for your own account, and stays with you if you change alliance.
- Alliance unlocks coordination features for every member of one alliance, and is bought by a leader of that alliance. It also includes the Personal features for whoever pays for it.
Current prices are shown on the plans page and include VAT where applicable. Plans renew automatically each month or each year until cancelled.
Payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record. They are the seller on your invoice, they handle VAT, and their name is what appears on your card statement. Their terms apply to the payment itself.
An Alliance plan is bought by one person and belongs to them. It cannot be transferred to another person. If the person paying stops paying, the alliance keeps its features until the end of the period already paid for, after which another leader may start a new subscription.
6. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and you keep your paid features until that period ends.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. By starting to use a paid feature you ask us to begin the service immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose that right once the service has been fully performed. In practice we will refund an unused subscription within 14 days of purchase if you ask us at support@roc-command.com.
We do not give refunds because an alliance disbanded, because you stopped playing, or for periods already used.
7. Price and feature changes
We may change prices. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days notice by email before it affects a renewal of yours, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
The game this tool supports changes regularly, and so does the tool. Features may be added, changed or removed. If we remove something significant from a plan you are paying for, we will tell you and you may cancel for a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
8. Availability
We try to keep RoC Command available and correct, but it is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we do not guarantee that the game data in the tool is accurate or current: the game publisher does not publish it, and it is compiled from player observation.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. Subject to that, our total liability to you in any twelve month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
Decisions you make in the game are yours. We are not liable for anything that happens to your castle, your alliance or your account in the game.
9. Your content
What you write in the app, including newsfeed posts, advice and notes, stays yours. You give us permission to store and display it as necessary to run the service for you and for the alliance you are in. You are responsible for what you post, and for having the right to post it.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using RoC Command at any time and delete your account from your account page, which permanently removes your personal data as described in the privacy notice. If you have a paid plan, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it; cancel it in the billing portal first.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Law and language
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which Sannverk is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live. This English text is the authoritative version; any translation is provided for convenience only.
